Big Backpackers Hostel - Sydney

The reception staff were amazing, answering all our queries and helping us plan our day. the rooms and washrooms were clean and neat, perfect for young backpackers looking to socialize. Great for families, with a fun experience for my grandsons. Hot showers and a nice breakfast. the staff were always helpful and smiling, and the free breakfast had a good variety of food to choose from. Bed and showers were comfortable. They offer a great deal for skydiving, perfect for adventure seekers.

Felt relaxed, nothing was too much trouble.

The proximity to central station and useful places such as a supermarket about 5 blocks away. The staff were friendly and provided directions to locations that I needed to reach.

This hotel is situated right by some of the best cafes and restaurants, making it easy to grab a delicious bite to eat. the leisure facilities were great, particularly for families with children. We loved the stunning view from our room which made for a memorable stay.

Sadly, the staff didn't seem quite as friendly or helpful as we had hoped.

The staff was great. Great kitchen/common area. Good amount of electric outlets. Plenty of hot water. Right next to Central Station.

Water pressure close to nil. Bathrooms tended to smell. However, for the price a great stay in Sydney.

Had an amazing thanksgiving experience with my friends at this hostel. Loved the 24h kitchen, it had everything we needed to cook our dinner. The location was perfect, close to public transport and convenience stores. The common area was lively and had a great atmosphere for hanging out with friends.

The room was a bit hot and stuffy, it was hard to sleep comfortably. The air con didn't make much difference but we managed.

Its location is very convenient especially for those who like to get around Sydney cbd. The place is also reasonably quiet at night to those who like a good night rest. The best feature of the hostel is the rooftop terrace where you can drink beers whilst enjoying the view of Sydney at night. Overall, our stay there was very enjoyable.

I had a great time staying here! The hotel is in a perfect location, close to lots of restaurants and public transportation. The staff, especially the manager, were super friendly and always there to help. The room had everything I needed, like air conditioning and a sink. The shared kitchen was always open and had everything I needed to cook. The terrace and garden areas were great places to relax and meet other travelers. The 24-hour security made me feel safe and the luggage storage was super convenient.

If you're looking for a family-friendly place to stay, this hotel would be perfect for you.

Very good location and friendly staff made our stay very enjoyable. When booking we were very price sensitive and sought cheap accomodation - the hotel was a perfect price and could not find fault on any of the facilities.

Staff were excellent. Very helpful and easygoing. The room was surprisingly clean and comfortable. Not too loud at night. Breakfast provided as described.

Shared shower rooms could be cleaner. Wi-fi Internet extremely slow and often impossible to even check mail. Lift is slow. Space for personal luggage really depends on who else is in the room. Many long-stayers tend to be really dirty and messy.

This hotel offers great value for money, with affordable prices and attention to detail. The location is perfect, right at the central station, making it convenient for travel to other parts of the city. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service, ensuring a pleasant stay for guests. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, with basic facilities and the option of having breakfast included.

Although I knew this was a budget option I was very disappointed that the television in the room was so small and old and didn't have even all the normal channels.

It is the best location with the suitable price.

WIFI cannot cover in this building. Moreover, when I use it at ground floor, it cannot surf internet because speed is very very slow. Speedtest.net cannot report the speed so it recommends to change new connection!
